But this is why I've bought my last chop from Safeway, Kroger's(Fred Meyer) or Costco or from any retailer that can't show me precisely where he gets his meat. Same for beef or poultry. I buy from a local farmer, who raises fat, happy pigs, that have grass to roll in, and blue skies to doze under.
This Iowa corporation that supplies the above stores raises hogs in pens barely big enough...I can't write anymore. It pisses me off.
